MAN Energy Solution is looking for a Sales Manager a Sales Manager for the sales team within our Long Term Service Agreement (LTSA) department MAN PrimeServ is a strong after-sales and service business with an informal atmosphere, where focus is on customers and performance. Being part of the MAN PrimeServ organization in Copenhagen, you will be servicing international customers within the marine industry. Furthermore, the MAN PrimeServ organisation is supported by more than 100 service hubs worldwide, and together we want to build up long-term relationships with our customers in order to be their preferred service partner. To secure future growth according to our strategy we are looking for a Sales Manager, preferably with a sales and commercial background from the engine industry, such as marine, automotive or other related industries. As our new Sales Manager you will refer to the Head of LTSA Sales and become part of the LTSA Sales Team. The LTSA department is a fast-paced team with an informal atmosphere where focus is on our customers and the performance of their vessels. Being part of LTSA, you will together with the team, work in a close cooperation with top management in international maritime companies. The LTSA team has a long track record of successfully executing service agreements and you will be able to benefit from your colleagues experience, when promoting and selling the next generation of LTSA contracts.

Job responsibilities:

As Sales Manager you will, together with the global PrimeServ organisation, identify new potential customers. You will be responsible for promoting and selling the LTSA concept to the customers and subsequently create and maintain profitable long term relationships. In order for you to succeed as a Sales Manager, you will be able to understand your customers specific needs and turn them into tailor made service agreements.

Together with a Tender Manager you will be responsible for the preparation of budgets for project proposals, which you will present to the customers. Furthermore you will prepare and present investment proposals for internal management approval. You will be responsible for the final contract negotiations and closing of service agreements, which you subsequently will hand over to the LTSA Project Management Team for execution.

Main responsibilities:

  • Market analysis and identification of potential new customers
  • Creating and maintaining long term customer relations, understand their needs and meet their expectations
  • Responsible for prizing and submission of customized Service Agreement proposals
  • Draw up agreement documents in collaboration with legal department
  • Negotiating and closing long term service agreements
  • Corporate with multiple stakeholders, both internally and externally

Profile/Qualifications:

  • Sales and commercial background, with some degree of technical know-how, preferably from the marine industry
  • Experience with contract negotiations of complex long term service agreements
  • Financial understanding and the ability to prepare and present investment proposals for internal management approval
  • Competitive and always strive to provide your customers with the best service possible
  • Able to communicate and on all levels in an international environment
  • Good at managing many different tasks and at the same time and able to meet tight deadlines
